A Word from TimBen
Occupation: Executive Director
I am a 42 year resident, a veteran and a former city councilmember. I have been running a local non-profit for 20 years and have been married to Ingrid, a local school teacher, for 26 years. Our daughter is a public school student. We love Santa Clarita and want to keep it a great place to live, work and raise a family.
I believe that our quality of life is threatened by increasing traffic, overcrowding, lack of water, public safety issues and homelessness. I will work to solve these problems.
When I served on the city council, I led the fight against digital billboards in open space, high speed rail and red light cameras. I fought for more roads, low housing density, increased public safety funding and a new Senior Center.
I supported building the new Sheriff’s station, Canyon Country Community Center and the Saugus Library.
Referring to my Council service, The Signal newspaper reported “Boydston…became known as the one to represent the little guy…establishing himself as a man concerned about the welfare of his fellow residents, laboring to ensure the people’s voice is heard.”
I would be honored to have your vote.
